Edu-CD Roadmap
Here are the current milestones for the Edu-CD. As this CD should be available for all current openSUSE releases, We plan different Roadmaps for each of them. As all packages are already build in the Buildservice, we hopefully just need to adapt the specfiles and patterns.

openSUSE-Education 1.0 for 10.3
This is the current openSUSE Release and has the highest priority for us.
RC1, 10/02/2008
- The first real release candidate.
- Only showstopper and security bugfixes get integrated.
GM, 22/02/2008
- Release on the ftp server to the public
openSUSE-Education 1.0 for 10.2 is released (Gold)
As a christmas present for some german schools in cooperation with the people from Open School Server, the openSUSE-Education 1.0 for openSUSE 10.2 is ready!

- Milestone: All blocker bugs resolved.

Next Goals
Our next big goals are:
- translation of the package descriptions
- the new YaST-Modules for education
- better integrated Kioskmodes
- a fully installable DVD
- Create and describe additional software-packages for servers in educational environments.
- Integrate LTSP into openSUSE.
- Provide Autoinstallation and Client-Imaging tools like AutoYaST or others.
