介绍

CD 或 DVD 安装

如果您已经拥有了安装光盘,那么直接用光盘启动,会自动进入安装流程。关于安装的文档在 SUSE Linux 启动指南,在光盘的 docu 目录下。

通过网络安装SUSE Linux

Insert the Internet Installation Boot CD into the drive. Then reboot the computer to start the installation program from the medium in the drive. You need to point the installer to the location of the installation repository on the Network. To do so select F3 followed by F4 at the bootscreen, and choose the installation protocol from the list. There are several options to chose from. Most openSUSE mirrors offer HTTP and FTP. You will be asked for the server and directory where to find the installation repository.

There are a lot of mirrrors for the SUSE Linux installation repositories. You need find one that is near you from the mirror list. Note down the name of the mirror, its IP address and the directory name before installation. To find IP address from domain name use something like this. For example, for the internet installation url, ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/

Domain Name = mirrors.kernel.org
Host IP = 204.152.191.39
Directory = /opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/
If you access the internet through a proxy you can set this in your boot options like this: proxy=123.123.123.123 proxyport=123.

If you don't have a nameserver during installation you need to find the IP address of the server that holds the installation repository. In Linux you can do this with the host command.

不想刻录CD安装的方法

See the Installation without CD article.

在多台电脑上安装SUSE Linux

If you are installing on several systems at once, you might want to create a YaST installation server. Documentation for this procedure can be found in the SUSE Linux 9.3 Administration Guide (PDF). To install from the YaST installation server, choose the network installation procedure.

图形启动菜单异常

如果图形启动菜单一直不出现,或出现后锁死不动,请在再次启动时按住 shift 键不放,这样会进入文本模式开机菜单。
